Looking for guidance on cost of laying a patio before I decide to do anything about it. The area in question is 20 sq meters . It's currently 804 chiippings.

If the base is compact and doesnt need to be excavated you should be able to get a contractor to do the work for anywhere between 800 to 1100 depending on what material you choose. Paving brick around 800 including labour. Indian sandstone 1100 including labour. very hard to price without seeing the area but hope this helps.
