Passed Templars at around 1 am and saw lots of smoke, 3 fire trucks and a lot of people standing around at the entrance to the estate. Dont have any more details except that it seemed to be the first house in the estate itself.

    Hope there was nobody hurt

Why the question mark? There WAS a fire! :)

(its weird thing, this use of a question mark when a statement is being made)

Gardai in Waterford City are investigating after a house was gutted by fire in Templars Hall overnight.

It's the second such incident in the space of 24 hours however the two are believed to be unrelated.

Emegency services were called to 1 Briot Avenue just after 1am this morning, two units from Waterford City Fire Brigade attended the blaze which was extinguished by 2.30am

No one was injured as the student house was unoccupied at the time, however extensive damage was caused to the property.

You didn't get my lame attempt at a joke there, but nevertheless, in future just report the post and let the mods decide whether its crossed the line. In general on Boards, there is an expectation to try and have a post that can be easily read and isn't a mess without paragraphs, full stops, or in txt spk, etc as that makes reading posts a nightmare. But there is a line where sometimes people do cross and if a poster feels hard done by, we will look over it anyway!
