We are thinking of investing in a new disc rotary mower this year if possible for mainly cutting rushes,or hay or silage, if needs be on our farm which can be rough in places.I'm wondering what make and models are out there and which are the best in terms of a quality, money, performance, and maintenance for what u get? Any help or knowledge are greatly appreciated.

Go with a disc mower and get topping skids as well. I bought a splendimo 205, easy to run.
The Khun looked a heavier machine but the price was a lot more plus the splendimo has a modular construction so it can (in theory) be easier to replace parts if needed.
