Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Ireland. Apparently there was a Great White spotted off the coast of Kerry a couple of weeks ago with suggestions that due to the increasing tempartures in the drift and the plentiful seal population, more and more sharks are likely to make Ireland a regular destination. Galway will be like the town in Jaws. If you scream shark we've got a full scal panic on our hands. It's July! We can't close the beaches, it's the festival season...

I for one, welcome our new shark overlords...

Yes, the seal is a well know horror about the coasts. Pregnant women are advised never to look seaward.

Eleven hundred Galwegians went into the water at Salthill. Three hundred and sixteen came out and the sharks took the rest.

Maybe big Phil might be in Salthill when the Great Whites come calling.

In the water he would have the look of a well fed seal.

They're not the kings of the ocean some people think they are. Killer whales have been known to kill them.

Have you genuinely never experienced warm seas off Ireland? If you haven't, I feel sorry for you!

    "But we delivered the Bamb"

April Fools or not, this thread went the way I would have wanted.

Have you ever been close up to an Atantic Ocean Great White? It's got big dead eyes, like a dolls eyes....
