Deer renewals 2013/2014 - Via e-mail

Just got two e-mails. The first was my renewal (minus attachments) for the upcoming 2013/2014 deer season, and the second the same exact e-mail just with the attachments added.

Have rang around a couple of lads i shoot with, and they have just gotten the same.

So if you supplied an e-mail address with any of your applications or renewals i would suggest you check them (or your spam filter) for the forms.

I got neither, and I gave them my email address. How long to submit them ? Gotta go for a few spins soon so to get permissions signed again!

It says on the e-mail that licenses will not be issued until 1st August so i assume get them done, and back in asap.

The two e-mails were sent because the first one did not contain the renewal or returns attachments.

All that matters is you got both forms in the one e-mail.

I`d say its a cost cutting measure. Cost them nowt to e-mail thousands of letters rather than use the post...Its a lost of envelopes and labour saved that way

I wouldn't "panic" just yet.

When i received mine via post it could be weeks between mine, my father's, and my neighbours letters arriving.

As said above they are most likely sending them out in batches.

If you supplied an e-mail with your last application (or any for that matter i presume) then you will not get paper ones in the post.

This must be a new cost saving thing with the government , my motor tax renewals came by email as well today.

My Father uses my e-mail address as he is not computer literate, but got his renewals via the post this morning. So seems to support the theory that anyone without an e-mail address or without one of their own are still going to get it via the post.

I know its not a renewal but anyway.

I just my letter granting my license for the 2013/2014 deer season. Happy days licenced will arrive the first of August. And all done from the day I posted it of to today the day it arrived back approved just shy of 3 weeks. Great
