NCT Visual Retest

    Just had the NCT done.
    All ok, except that I need a visual retest done due to the offside Steering Gaiter clip had come off and needs to be put back and then I can get the NCT certificate.

    Is this something I should be able to myself or would it need a ramp to do it?

    Had the NCT test in Carlow but I assume I can take it to the closest NCT Center for the visual?

    depends on the car to be honest. some cars have easier access than others. also depends whether its the inside or outside clip that's come off. easier one would be the outside one. yeah you can bring it anywhere for retest.
