A young guy came to my door yesterday wanting me to subscribe to Sky. I told him I was happy with free TV and wouldn't be interested in joining Sky. He told me that after a 12 month contract with Sky I would have Freesat which would include the Irish stations and that it would cost me nothing.

Is this true or was he trying a scam?

Unless you have his name, his ASA number and the sales company that he is contracted to then you'd be wasting your time and money phoning SKY on a premium 0818 number. The guy is a sales rep selling sky this week and maybe BB or airtricty next week he is on commission and is only out to make more money that why he spun you the yarn.
