Google Sound Search now available.....Just downloaded it there....
Havent tried it yet, but interesting to see how it compares to Shazam etc....

I find SoundHound performs better than Shazam for me.

It's been available in the States for ages, it's better than Shazam at identifying not so popular songs, I guess that's the advantage of having Youtube

Edit, found it, not compatible with any of my devices which is BS as I got my Nexus 7 from the states and it had it installed until I wiped it and moved to Irish Play market

Says its incompatible with the S3. Not going through the bother of finder an APK.

Sounds like you're trying voice search, this is sound search, identifies songs like Shazam

If you've got a nexus device (or an N4 anyway I don't know what other devices it comes installed on) you can go into titanium backup and defrost the app in the back-up section and it'll appear in your app drawer. I've been using it for a while and its very good and nice and fast.

You can also defrost google play books, magazines and movies but you can't purchase anything.

It should appear in the widgets section but not the app drawer (made a mistake in my earlier post). See if you can find it in the back/up restore section of titanium backup, maybe it needs to be defrosted again or something.

Google Sound Search not compatible with a Nexus 4, wtf?

Im not all that bothered, Shazam does the trick, I know I could sideload it but im just not all too arsed, at least Shazam has a Beatport license nowadays.... (one of the dl sites I use)

Did you find it under Widgets (it's not listed under Apps at present)..under widgets, it is alphabetically at s, not G, if you get what I mean....
It's there for me anyways on Nexus 4...
