I have a brother anniversary sewing machine. It was a very good sewing machine for the price and the work I was doing. I have it 2 yrs and it ceased 6 weeks ago, I sent it off to be repaired under guarantee and it turned out the bottom shaft had to be replaced ,it has been given problems since it has come back and is now over in the uk for a second opinion. Ive started doing alot of patchwork and quilting and I think now I might invest in a stronger machine. Ive had a look at the Husqvarna Opal 650, the Pfaff Ambition Essential, the Pfaff Ambition 10 IDT and the Pfaff Ambition 1.5 IDT. I would like advice if anyone has one of these 4 machines and what they think of the one they have. thanks:)

I used to work for Pfaff a long time ago, mainly on industrial machine but we did domestic from time to time. I have to say they are well engineered and well designed machines.

Thanks very much for that:). I have also been told to contact John O Donnell in Waterford as he comes highly recommended when it comes to buying a sewing machine:)
