I am helping out someone to submit a tender for the design and development of a site for a organization that has received government funding for it.

He is fairly new to the tendering process and he is looking to see can he find out roughly how much funding they got so as to know if his tender price is not to much / little.

Is there any websites out there that list funding given out by government to organisations?

Seriously? That's a terrible approach, firstly the funding won't be just for the development of a site, for example €200k funding and maybe a €10k budget for the site, is he really going to tender for €50 - €75k based on the funding??? Secondly, the tender should be based on his estimates, he's going to end up either covering a deficit or completely removing his bid due to overpricing.

If he's really intent on finding out, he could make a request under the freedom of information act.
