If they are then it's a special but I doubt it in that race.
Can you not Just do your bets with the other bookies anyway?

The bookies saying there is 4 places are being lazy. Every bookie will pay 3 only

I'm not really a fan of the AW but a horse I really like tomorrow in the last in lingfield is fortieth and fifth. Finished 4th of 16 at goodwoods summer meeting last time where he had a terrible draw in 16.
That form if transferring it to the polytrack would be good enough to win most 0-85 handicaps around here.
While it looks a competitive heat I would be disappointed if he didnt have the class to take care of these.
Fitness is a worry but The 4yo gelding is sure to improve from last year and is almost definitely overpriced at 3/1. I had him down as a 6/4,7/4 shot and tbh I would be very surprised if he went off much bigger than 2/1.

Good to see Sydney Des Pictons back tomorrow at Downpatrick. Beat Samain(Any update on him?) on his bumper debut and won a decent maiden hurdle in January 2011. Hasn't been seen since.

Your pick is now trading at 7.4 on betfair (13/2) seems like a huge jump in a few hours for a 16/1 shot

    5.05 Downpatrick

    Mister Philson 16/1

Although quite a difficult looking contest on paper, I fancy Stuart Crawford's Mister Philson to run a big race and hopefully he can land this pretty valuable contest for his Northern Irish based trainer. Although lightly raced under Rules with only 8 starts (7 in Hunter Chases), this 8 year old is an experienced and successful Point To Pointer with 7 wins and 9 places from 23 starts in that sphere. On his last start, Mister Philson made his handicap debut over fences last month in Heavy ground at Carlisle off a mark of 107 when running out a very promising 4.5L beaten 2nd. Leading for much of the contest, Mister Philson was headed by the eventual winner Dusky Bob at 4 out but he battled on very gamely and was only just behind jumping the final flight and although that rival went clear late on Mister Philson was still saying on strongly. Although the form of that race has yet to be tested, Dusky Bob was well supported by the shrewd Brian Ellison outfit and looks to be on the upgrade whilst the 3rd Markadam loves it at Carlisle to solidify the form. It was a fine effort by Mister Philson on his handicap debut and he certainly looked open to further progression. In tomorrow's contest, Mister Philson actually gets to race off a 5lb lower mark than his excellent 2nd of 102 given that he is back in Ireland and that certainly makes him look like a horse who is handicapped to be very competitive. Additionally, I think he'll relish the step up to 3m4f (a distance he won a Point To Point over) and he should improve again as he is clearly a stout stayer. Although this is a tough contest, Mister Philson gets to carry a lovely racing weight of 9-12 and given that the first two home in this race last year (although it was a much easier contest) carried less than 10 stone and a low weight over this sort of trip is always a huge advantage. I'm delighted to see Davy Condon, who is riding brilliantly at the moment, take the ride as he is one of the best jockeys around to make this sort of weight and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Stuart Crawford had this contest earmarked for quite a while. Another massive, massive bonus for the chances of Mister Philson is that he was placed on both his completed Hunter Chases at the course and his proven ability to handle this very unique course should stand him in great stead. Although a tough looking contest, I think Mister Philson looks a well handicapped horse off 102 and he has a lovely low racing weight to boot. He's more than halved in price since I put him up earlier on to a best showing of 15/2 and hopefully the money is spot on and he lands this good prize for his Larne based trainer.

It's nice to give the horses a break from racing once in while!

Anyone fancy Copperwood 2nd 3rd respectfully over a mile at Southwell 5.20 today, know he's over his preferred 7fl. Only 6 horse race favourite at 9/4 but I think he is a certainty over that distance.

Mister Philson unseats Davy Condon. Don't really know why he was held up as he seems to love going from the front. Money seemed down but a pain in the ass.

Can't get away from Banna Boirche in the next. C+D form reads 114111 and won this race in the 2010 and 2012. Has been running really well in Meydan. Won off this mark before.
