    Hello all
    I'm a but confused
I am buying my second home.
However the person I'm buying it with is a first time buyer.
So what happens here regarding first time buyer status?
    Is it all cancelled out?
Sorry but I bought 8 years ago so things have changed since

If you are buying it together ie. both your name on the contract and deeds, then you dont get FTB status unless you're both FTBs.

there is no FTB benefit, stamp duty is a flat rate and MIR is gone.
