Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to successfully complete the prepayment by lodging cash into the account details provided? I only have an EBS account, and they don't support electronic transfers. Would it be acceptable to simply lodge the cash into their account, listing all the relevant information as shown in this thread? I'm just worried that because it'd be cash, it'd be a pain to try and get refunded if need be.

Alternatively, I could try and cancel my order and then reorder, but then bite the bullet and choose to pay via PayPal. I've spent collectively a half hour on hold with them all day and haven't gotten through once.

    Hey,

I'm not sure what you mean by 'lodge cash' - The money is going electronically anyway, who would be transferring it for you to the HW account?
I trasnferred money with AIB a couple of weeks ago, but from my understanding if I got details wrong, I don't have much comeback so I think what you are doing is pretty much the same thing.

For ref: I used the below helpful image step-by-step guide (from boards) http://imgur.com/a/BlC7k#0

I sent money before 12pm on a Thursday, HW confirmed receipt of my payment on the Friday and I had the goods at my door the next Wednesday.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Idioteque,
That's dead handy, cheers. :) Yeah basically my plan was to go up to AIB (I've no account or anything with them) and hand them the actual cash along with the (hopefully) correctly filled-out lodgement slip and deposit the money into HW's account. It sounds pretty straightforward and routine, but I've had problems with this sort of payment method with other companies in the past so I'm just being extra cautious this time 'round.

go into your own bank and do that? don't draw any money, they'll do all the work transferring. honestly I walk into Ulster bank, say hi to the teller, and hand them a copy of my email and my debit card. they know exactly what to do.
