Tv hdd recording

    Hi, hocked up a hard drive to my Sony Bravia hoped it would record stuff whilst I watched other program's but it won't let me watch anything else other than what is recording. Is that just what it does or am I missing something?

    Probably only has one tuner so can only record what you are watching

    So it's only useful for when you are not watching or are away. Cheers
