    I'm a student journalist and I'm looking to subscribe to some mailing lists that will send me press releases and the likes that I could use to generate stories.

    Most of the ones in the Media Resources thread seem to be redundant so I was wondering if anyone knew any good ones? I'm based in the West if there's any ones specific to that part of the country?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    if you cannot find them how will you find stories and contacts and leads? using press releases to generate stories is churnalism. Most of the stories today are from 'reports' isued by some organisation as a press release. if youwant to go down that route register with some that reflect your interests. EPA will have info on environmental matters etc
