    Does anyone know if the above car has a timing chain or belt?

    They have either 2 belts or a belt and a chain. Not much help I know, but that is what they have done on them. Think those may have 2 belts.

    you will have to give the reg to a dealer for them to check. When I was getting mine done, I asked the dealer to let me know if it had 1 belt and a chain or 2 belts, the chain or second belt is in the sump area. Even then he wasn't 100% sure.

    The changeover from belt and chain to belt and belt was in 2008 so any 2009 cars will have the 2 belt setup.

    To be changed every 200,000km or 10 years.

    Mine (import) has 94000 miles. Might need to be done. Is it expensive?

    About €650 to have both belts done. It is pretty labour intensive.
