    Hi All,

I have a 12ft x 10ft wooden shed that im working in at the moment.

I was thinking of putting up an internal wall now so i can hang shelving and have a back to my work bench.

Can anyone tell me what thickness sheets i should use. I see thickness from 6mm to 18mm and ply shuttering ply osb and hardboard options but not too sure what i need.

ballpark idea of cost per sheet ?

12mm wbp ply will do nicely at about €22 for a 8ftx4ft sheet.
It's not really clear what you mean, will you be screwing the ply onto the side of the shed? If not, and you're just gonna screw the ply to the back of the bench then you'll need some 3x2 to support the ply to stop it warping from the weight of the shelves.
Have a look at http://www.goodwins.ie/ to get an idea of prices for materials.

18mm osb would be better stronger and cheaper

8 x 4 18mm WPB is around 24-25 euro at the present time.

thanks for the replies, the sheet would be screwed on to the inside of the shed.
I would be covering all the internal walls and ceiling with it. when it is done i would be using it as the backdrop for a work bench.

what is the difference between osb and wpb ?

OSB would be stronger and well suited to your needs.
