    The story is:
The guy through cbg.ie trying to sell his car which was brought with him to Germany and i'm looking for some advise on it. He mailed me that he is working in Germany at the moment, but his car will be shipped to Ireland if it gets enough interests. Will drop PM with details whoever has any clue.

    Thanks

Scam. He will request you pay into escrow account that supposedly wont release the money to him until you are happy with the car.
In reality, it will be a fake account and your money will be gone. Alternatively sone similar scam nonsense.
    Dont even consider it

    Thanks

Btw. Would like to check details of car (waiting for report from HPIFirst), but if any of You could help me to sort it out let me know.

Stay well clear my friend. Nearly bought a jeep in the exact same circumstances.

Guy was saying he was in Hungry.
Don't waste your time and money doing a HPI check either, as the car will come back clean. He is pretending to be the previous owner.

I'm lucky as I have friends in the knowhow and I was able to find out where the car was sold last and the current owners name.
Turned out that the jeep in Hungry was actually in Galway getting serviced at a main dealers. .

Did a search of his username on eBay too and it came back a blank.

He's probably telling you he will send you the car and you have 2 days to look it over and if you don't like it you can send it back. Rubbish, you will never see your money again

Please, please walk away from this one.

    Yep, same story.

Thanks for all of the feedbacks

    Btw. what's wrong with cbg.ie http://www.cbg.ie/Error.aspx ?

This is a very old scam. Tell him you will be in Germany on business and can view the car before buying. Then wait for the long silence or BS excuses.

Yeah agreed. Would be good to drag it out a bit with him so that he thinks that he's got a live one. Could be a bit of craic ;-)

It's a numbers game for these people, they have standard replies to emails. In short, you'd only be wasting your own time. :)
