VW Passat advice needed urgently

I have a 07 passat 1.9 tdi. In the last couple of weeks I've had problems with accelerating. When I drive the car it can only reach to 2000 rpm and then it won't go anymore. The problem used to come and go and now it seems to stay on permanently. Last week the warning light came on saying emissions garage. It then went off itself. I took it to the mechanic and he said it could be the sensor connected to the airflow coming from the turbo or the turbo itself. I had the sensor changed it stayed away until today. I had a good look under the bonnet and whenever the car was given acceleration the airflow pipe coming from the turbo would sucks itself in which normally should push out instead.

Even with the engine light not being on at the moment the problem is not going away.

Any advice would be very appreciated I need this fixed as soon as possible

    Thanks

no noise at all everything sounds normal thats the problem. I expected to hear the noise from the turbo. I also thought it would of went by now. Is possible for it to behave like that before it goes completely? I was also looking up that it could possibly be EGR valve some symptoms sound the same, any advice? thanks

Looks like its in Limp mode, Does it behave the same with the Air filter removed ?

limp mode wouldn't cause the pipes to suck in, possibly is something blocking the intake if there has been no other warning

I never tried that. Do you think it would make a difference? It sounds too easy to be just that. Would it be a problem to the sensor with the airflow meter?

enumbers - there has been no other warning or problems its been on and off for a month now. It has all started after driving home with the fuel light on and only having 20 miles left on the tank. The next day when I took it out for a drive thats when the problem started with lack of power. Do you think I could of damaged the fuel pump/filter?

Get someone to plug it into a vagcom and see what it reports. I had a bit of a similar situation with my passat last year which turned out to be a boost pressure solenoid. I dont know if the pipe was collapsing in mine though.

Maybe the battery is shot after the long winters driving.

I just connected it there it showed 2 codes:

    1) P0236 Turbo/Superboost Sensor A CKT Range/Performance

    2) P0237 Turbo/Superboost Boost Sensor A circuit low input.

I took the car for a drive and the first code didn't show up again afterwards.

I have replaced a sensor but I don't know If that is the sensor I replaced because I wasnt told what it was called. I only know its the one in the front. here is the picture of the one I replaced:
