    Hi guys
Over the last couple of weeks 3 grates have snapped inside my open fire. I couldn't figure out why. Eventually o noticed the the floor of the fire place has sunk under the grate and with the heat and the grate been unlevel it was snapping. I was taking the ashes out of it this morning and notice there is actually a hole in the floor of the fire place now. What can I use or do to fill the hole and raise it back up.
    Thaks guys

You can just refill it with cement

If you go into woodies or homebase or the like you can buy
a ready mixed tub of fire cement.
