Hi folks, well my old pc died yesterday, it was already needing upgrades, but decided to try a build instead.

    1. What is your budget? €500

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming. Enjoy most games, but mainly play the likes of Skyrim, Bioshock Infinate and Star Wars mmo.
    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No, I recon its far too old at this stage.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
    1920x1080

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No, have a keyboard, mouse and speakers, headset etc

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? Credit Card/Visa Debit, Bank Transfer, Paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? asap

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Dun Laoghaire. I might need help as its my first build.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice

15 quid over budget but this would do you nicely. If you have a copy of Windows on the old machine that you can use then use that because it's taking a decent chunk from your budget and it could be put towards a 7850.

Knew there was something wrong in there. I have no HDD, I was thinking I was fitting too much in there on that budget.

If you can afford the extra 50 definitly get the 7850 but 7770 is also a decent card for the games you mentioned. Will play skyrim and ,Cod, Battlefield 3, Dishonored, bioshock infinite maxed out, but struggles a bit on far cry 3 and crysis 3 and will have to turn settings down a bit

Drop the processor down to this in my original build and put this HDD in.

Is there anywhere you can get a 'legal' copy of windows from? Its eating up of the most of the budget. Your really going to need to go for 600 to get the best bang for buck with windows included

I'll look into it, but yeah, its a big chunk of what I am planning to spend eaten up.
