    Hi there,

Need to top up my engine coolant in 2008 Toyota Corolla 1.4. Is there any alternative coolant I can use instead of the Toyota Super Long Life brand, as I want to get it today and doubt many places would be open.

    Thanks and Happy Easter!

You can get a Prestone coolant that can be added to any type of existing coolant.

As far a I recall, toyota longlife coolant is Ethylene Glycol based. You should therefore be able to top upo with any Ethylene Glycol based coolant without issues. Dilute to 50% with (preferably distilled) water if not premixed.

I would be concerned with why your coolant has dropped and you should get the cause determined.
