What would be the first thing you would grab if your house was on fire? Now lets say the wife and kids are out at the time, so you don't have to save them. So what possessions or items would grab first?

I would grab my fishing gear, I just couldn't live without it plus you couldn't lay your hands on some of the stuff have. If I had enough time Id run back in and grab my xbox!:)

If my house was on fire there's nothing I'd grab before getting out.

    Everything can be replaced.

Can't believe people would go get their X-Box in a burning house.

I'd go for the fire extinguisher first, the Fabergé eggs can wait!

XBOX and laptop, then back in for the TV. If I have time for a third run, the woman and a spare jacket if its a cold night.

I suppose they'd be easier to carry than the family themselves, but its not quite the same.

The smoke alarm to make sure nobody else hears it.

Also the deeds to the house to make sure they are properly destroyed.
