    Hi, living south dublin/north wicklow. anyone have suggestions to where to purchase good 2nd hand bikes for kids? Have to be in good condition. Thanks NoraB

    Really good kids bikes like www.islabikes.co.uk are like hens teeth but for more mundane fare try www.adverts.ie there are usually a few hanging around, www.donedeal.ie is ok too though it feels pretty old fashioned with no in thread communication.
    Try not to get anything too heavy or with any suspension.

    You could also have a look in Rothar Dún Laoghaire, they had a good few of varying sizes last week. The advice about weight/suspension is definitely worth keeping in mind. Maybe a BMX would suit?
