The State of Georgia must be giving loads of money to tv producers for shooting there. Same locations as The Walking Dead :pac:

Wow.....what a let down. Opportunity missed in pilot......power goes, all the drama that could ensued, completely skipped and straight away, '15 years later'. I thought this might be the 'Lost' done correctly, but looks like a B rate cheap tv series.

Predictable really from here, totally boring. If it goes down the Sci Fi route from here, it might bring some spark to the show, but as it stands, i have switched off already.

Agreed it should show more of what happened in the aftermath but I really hope it doesn't go down the Sci Fi route (and I'm really into my Sci Fi).

I want to see a tv series that goes into what would happen to civilization when technology goes belly up. This might not be any good but for once I don't want zombies, aliens, time travel etc.

Atlanta has major tax breaks/credits which is why lots of shows shoot there.

Desperate, it's another show set in 'merica where they assume that if theirs a small problem then panic, anarchy and mob rule will run riot.
FFS! 15 years and no one built a steam engine or figured out how to run a car without a battery! Too busy keeping up with looking attractive it seems.

I watched the 2 episodes showen on Sky but that's it ...no more!!
It's dreadful...really disappointing.

i enjoyed it,should fill a gap left over the summer when the walking dead finishes.

This series is based on suspect science, why should steam or diesel engines not run without electricity (even if you could turn it off)? But then Lost, Life on Mars, Star Trek etc isn't entirely based on valid science either.

It's finally getting watchable. A thought occured to me viewing last night's episode that this show might be the new Falling Skies i.e. completely woeful and laughable start only to save itself just in time. Giancarlo Esposito would make a far better General Monroe than the twit who is actually playing the role but there's no changing that now, unless Gus opens a can of whoopass on Monroe and seizes power. It's still not a stellar, must see show but Season 2 so far has been more enjoyable.

Thought this was awful, just seemed to get worse in the second episode. I thought the premise sounded good but they really did a good job of making it boring, predictable and unrealistic at the same time (clothes are all in perfect nick, everyone's hair looks great, most people are clean shaven. And surely it would be difficult for google guy to stay overweight 15 years after the blackout?).
