Richard Griffiths RIP

Yamanoto

Perhaps best known for his star-turn as the predatory old ham Uncle Monty in Withnail and I, many folks will also recognise him as Uncle Vernon in Harry Potter.

TV work included everything from The Sweeney, Pie in the Sky and Minder to Bleak House, Episodes & Dibley.

Much like the recently passed Richard Briers, Griffiths has been a constant presence as long as I can remember.

Sorry to see the old boy go.
