Myself and my girlfriend are heading to USA for 17night in late June and early July. We are flying into Miami and flying out from New York. I was just looking for advice on the best way of diving up the holiday.

The basic plan I have would be miami > Orlando > Washington > New York.

How long would people recommend spending in Orlando and Washington? I was thinking maybe 3 full days in each? Leaving 5 days in Miami and 6 days for NY.

Also would there be any other places worth a visit on route if we cut down on time elsewhere? We would be flying from orlando to Washington
