Skylander Giants Disc

Hi all,
Our Skylander Giants Disc is damaged and won't play anymore (kids & DVDs still don't mix very well!)
I got it as part of the starter kit (portal, game, cards etc). I see a good offer at the moment on the Skylander Giants booster kit but it says on the box its suitable for upgrade if you already have skylanders spryos adventure. Does this really matter ? or is the game in the booster kit the same as the disc with the Giants starter pack? I don't want to have to buy a full starter pack again. Any advice welcome.

The booster has the game and Tree Rex, no portal or the other two figures, Smyths have it on offer for €35.

A lot of games companies will replace a broken disc for around €5 + P&P. Email the producers or contact the support line that should be somewhere in the manual.

Smyth's also repair broken discs.

The Booster was just a way for people who owned the original game with the figures and portal to get new Giants game without having a 2nd portal lying round. It is the same base Giants game on the disc and whatever figures it comes with, so your best bets for replacing the disc.

I've ordered a new booster pack from gamestop.ie, €24 and €2 postage. Will take a more care of this one and keep little hands and feet away!
