Campagnolo Eurus wheelset with Ultegra components - sacrilege or if you like them, who gives a f*ck?

Have to admit it feels a little off to me.

Like the chap who comes out on our Thursday night training session with the beautiful Dogma with an SRAM groupset ..... it's just wrong! I'm not really jealous .... honest!

I would have absolutely no qualms whatsoever. Ultegra, good. Eurus, good. Together, good.

Get them if you want. No one really cares what you put on your bike. It's just a bit of banter when people go on about Campag v Shimano or SRAM.

I'm currently looking at a pair or campagnolo zondas with a shimanio free hub. I'd say get em and don't worry about it

Maybe he wanted a light groupset with consistent, smooth shifting?

You might get away with it if your frame is not European. Do not bring the bike to Italy as the Polizia di Stato would be after you.

If Campagnolo wheels weren't meant to be used with a Shimano drivetrain, they wouldn't make them with Shimano freehubs.

True. Shimano won't make their wheels campy compatible though, I suppose being so huge they don't have to do anything to aid the competition.
