Pat Collins' film Silence is on RTE1 tonight. It's one of the more interesting Irish films of the last few years and well worth a watch. The film follows a sound recordist's efforts at recording silence as he journeys from Berlin to his home on Tory Island.

Visually the film is very striking and it features a strong central performance from the lead actor.
