I am due to start an Internship in the coming week, and I was under the impression that if I managed to get agency work I would be able to do this without it effecting my payment, however recently someone told me that it would effect your payment.

Could someone advise me on this. If I do manage to get agency work, which could be 1 12 hour shift this week none the next and 2 the following week. How would this effect my payment. Would I need to attend the welfare office to inform them of the one shift I did this week, or what way does it work. Because my Internship is due to be 5 days a week, so I don't know how I am meant to attend the welfare office also.

I taught it would operate like the TUS programme where ya would be able to work along with it with out it effecting your payment.
