Tire & tube question

Still getting my head around this road cycling lark, so apologies if this is a daft question.

The wheels on my bike are 23/700 and I have a spare tube that I need to bring on a spin this weekend. I've just noticed the tube says '25/32 - 622/630'.

Basically would the tube work with the tire?

No you need a tube that 700c x 20-25 or 622-(20-25) . Same thing. 700c is tyre 622 is the rim it goes on.

Not ideal, but should be grand. I've done it before. But for the sake of a few quid probably worth getting one that goes from 23c-25c. Also, if there's a few others with you someone will be able to swap.
