Do Eircom throttle?

    I'm on Eircom NGB Regular. In the evenings although I still get max speed downloading and with speed tests certain streaming services slow dramatically. I've done some checking and trying to stream 720p content is problematic yet SD content works OK. Around 23:30 HD stuff flies again.

    I'm not absolutely sure whether it's the broadband or the places I'm streaming from but I've tried a few different sources. I know the contention is less with NGB Ultimate but if I upgrade to it I'll be stuck with a 12 months contract and it might have no effect.

    Anybody got any sage like advice please? Thanks! :)
