Leggings - where to buy good quality

    Hi All,

I'm very late in coming around to the idea of leggings. I have resisted them for a number of reasons - some of those are a little unkind to others and so I won't be mean and list them, others are unkind to me and so I can list those!:o
I've always felt that I'm too big for them. In the logical part of my brain I know this is nuts as I am a size 10 - 12 and at 5' 8" thats not too shabby.
Anyhow enough of my silliness on that front, I'd like to take the plunge and buy some. The thing is I have no idea where to buy them.
I would like to have strong leggings i.e. with lycra or whatever it is so that the bums and knees don't creep in straight away. I know these will cost more and I have no issue with that. In the last number of years I've decided that if I'm going to buy something I want it to last and will wait to get one good thing rather than loads to cheaper things in the usual places.

Thanks in advance and apologies for the rambling. I blame the cold.

Price of leggings is still dropping, there is no reason to buy leggings yet as pressures from the troika combined with ever rising oils and electricity prices and uncertainty in the mortgage market mean many leggings will be sold for cash soon.
You wouldn't catch a falling knife would you?

I know its a tough one alright .... Do you buy leggings or rent leggings or do you buy to let your leggings .....
I think you would have better sell on value if you buy your leggings outright .... Who wants to buy 2nd hand leggings in this current market

Oh and don't forget the property tax for your leggings .... You want to make sure you get the valuation correct or the revenue will come down on you like a ton of leggings

PMSl :D:D sorry guys. The perils of have too many tabs open at the same time eh!

Have asked Mods to relocate to Fashion & Appearance. I believe that forum is in a lower tax band and so more affordable for me:)

If you can get to a Uniqlo shop they do brilliant leggings but I'm not sure if they ship to Ireland.

I'm a fan of Topshop leggings - both the heavier kind that sort of feel like trousers and the lighter ones. Neither are see-through at all which is why I'm a fan and they also last for ages and fit (me) well.
