Kindles (ereaders only) buying direct from the amazon.co.uk site

As the title says I managed to get past the delivery address stage on a order for a kindle paperwhite from amazon.co.uk. On the kindle fire though - no such such luck - it still comes up that it can't be shipped to my destination address (ireland)

Yeah Amazon won't deliver the Kindle Fire here coz the market isn't open to us. Use parcel motel if you really want one.

Although I changed my address to a U.K address and unlike before when I did this, I'm now able to download apps and games.
