    Hi guys,

Im just after finishing up building may new gaming rig and i have hit a problem. what is happening is that the system on post will bring me to the America something bios page, it says to hit the delete key or f2 to enter bios, but no matter how hard or how mant timed I press either I cant get in.

It then says press F1 to run setup but pressing F1 does nothing. It says also that if I still want to enter bios to hit CTRL/ALT/Delete and all that does is start the boot loop again where delete key and F2 do nothing.

There is no OS on my machine yet as I cant get it to boot from the optical drive as cant get in bios.

I am using a ireless usb microsoft keyboard and mouse (Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1) which I have tried in all usb ports on MB.

I would be very grateful for any assistance.

    Kind regards,
    George.

Try hitting the F-Lock key and hit Del or F2 quickly afterwards.

Also try a wired keyboard, USB or PS/2.

I'd agree, try a wired KB.

About 30 mins after posting the thread last night I realised about the G lock. Where's the face palm emoticon?

The bios is too quick to catch it during post and the press F1 to enter setup worked like a champ as soon as I pressed f lock.

This might help someone else though and thanks for the replies.
