kerry group capital structure

    Not sure if this is the appropriate forum but anyway I've a question if anyone can help.....How would I go about calculating the capital structure of the kerry group. Where would I get the info from etc.? Any input would be appreciated thanks

    To calculate the capital structure as such. Do I have to a member to gain access on davy research. Thanks for the reply.

    Look at the balance sheet from the most recent annual report you'll find the proportion of the co. financed by debt and equity there. You may want to adjust to market values for both the shares outstanding and the debt.

    Thanks very much. I have some understanding of it but big confusion in terms of what debt and equity used to finance the company. Am getting there though, hopefully :)

    Two sources of finance long term and short, capital structure will normally refer to long term sources, will normally be comprised of equity (shares at par, additional paid in and retained earnings) and long term debt (but you'll include some short term if there is a debt issue which was a long term source of income but due to be repaid w/in 12 months). HTH.

    Just go through the debt and liabilities side of the BS line buy line and you should get to an answer.
