Corsair 600T Noise

Those fans are good but but exactly quiet. I have a 200mm spectre and I have to drop it down to about 40% to make it reasonably quiet.

The fan controller on the 600t is not good. Plug the fans that came with the case directly into the motherboard if you have enough fan headers.
Turn the fans down in the bios and it should be much quieter. Just monitor it for a while to make sure your cpu and gpu temps are ok.

If it's the CPU or GPU fans thats the problem this won't help though you might be able to setup a fan profile that will.

I wouldn't go with that foam kit thing. Usually those kits are that cheap for a reason. I bought something similar for my ATCS 840 when I had it, cost me about €30. Know what it felt like? The soft foam you get in boxes as packing material. Fluffy, airy, and incredibly light. Get some AcoustiPack instead. The single OEM sheets are the cheapest. I'd recommend either the 7 or 12mm stuff. Mass is what's going to stop sound more than anything, and this stuff has got some real heft to it. It's almost like thick carpet. That same sort of weight.

As for the fans, Bloodbath's right. They're fine, but they're not really quiet (at least the 200mm Spectres aren't) I'd go for Gentle Typhoons, personally. Not designed as case fans, but the fact remains that they push a lot of air for the little bit of noise they make.

Mine is the spectre pro by the way. The normal specs are quieter. If you are going for silence don't use the pro's.

Hmmm, interesting... so I'll either get some Gentle Typhoons or I may go for a couple of Noctua's instead, as expensive as they are :(

I should mention I've used both, and I've found GTs to be quieter than Noctuas, especially at lower RPMs.
