    I'd like to take issue with the Press Gazette's headline
    "Mail on Sunday claims first for women in journalism as it makes Alison Kervin sports editor"

    Maybe they are not casting their net that far, but Connie Clinton was Sports Editor in the Star in the 90's.

    Maybe the don't count Ireland...

    Of late the DM is not too far behind any Tabloid and in some instances surpassing them in the race to the bottom.
