    Hi,

A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know where I could buy a computer case before Friday. I'm assuming it can't be delivered by then from abroad so it's probably a bricks and mortar shop job.

Anywhere in Dublin city centre or kildare would be ideal.

Hoping for a mid tower with at least 6 internal 3.5 drive bays.

Not too big a design and budget around €100.

I tried peats and no joy.

    Thanks for any ideas..

If you order tonight from amazon you should have it by Friday. You will definitely have it if you pay for express shipping.

No post (from An Post) on Good Friday though, so it only leaves me tomorrow and Thursday to get it delivered.
Would ordering it express from Amazon tonight definitely get it to me by Thursday evening?

If they do and you order it tonight you will have it friday.
I think express shipping costs almost £20 though.

Well the OP does want someting that can house 6 hard drive cages . Plus when you buy a quality case like that it will last longer .

the op says 'not too big a design', the v1000 is most definitely big design. it was a great case for its day but there is equal or better build quality and features available right now for similar price, also the aluminium scratches way too easy on those things and the wheels are a bit of a 'mare as well. still it might not be a bad shout if time is of the essence

You could take the wheels off it to reduce the height and then its not much bigger then a normal ATX case .

If that doesn't take your fancy there is Maxburns out in tallaght . They have a small selection of cases .

as far as i remember, maplin do a few. Almost always overpriced but u can be lucky ever now and again with a sale item.

Maplin are doing Zalman and Coolermaster cases now. Worth a look, but as always, small premium when you buy from brick and mortar.
