    Hello

I will shortly be moving my telephone and broadband service to UPC My question Sky say that I must keep my boxes connected to a working telephone line in order to get half price deal on multi room.

When I switch to upc. I will be plunging the boxes into the telephone ports on the modem will my sky boxes think that they are still connected to a working telephone line.

Thanks in advance for your help

Yes it will work, My box is connected to my UPC phone line on the back of my modem and does callbacks successfully with Sky

Disconnect your eircom line completely. Connect your UPC modem to the phone lines running around your house and connect these to the Sky box as normal and it works perfectly.

Have it working in my house for the past year with no problems

It depends where you live. Generally in Dublin it works ok, but reports from Cork or Limerick it may not. It seems the system in some areas is different.
