new bike help please, last one stolen

    Hi All,

    So I'm in the market for a new bike, just had my lovely new trek 7.2 stolen yesterday :(

    So this time i don't want to spend much, just something for my three mile commute.

    I reckon a second hand bike might be the way to go, not as appealing to thieves?

    Any recommendations of where to look please.

    Where was your bike stolen from? What kind of lock did you have?
    What was it locked to?
    How was it locked?

    Answering these questions might prevent your next bike from being stolen.
    As for what bike? Buy a 2nd hand Trek 7.2?
