I'm in the market for a tablet.
My requirements are great screen resolution - it's main purpose will be to read PDFs.
Roughly a 10" screen - generally the documents are A4.
    Anything else is a bonus.

I know the Nexus 10 ticks the boxes but it not being sold or supported in Ireland is a negative for me. I know how to buy it through the Google Play store but I'd prefer to buy it from somebody who sells to Ireland. The Nexus 10 isn't ruled out but I was wondering if there was anything new on the horizon before I purchase. I'm not in a hurry so I can wait a couple of months.

If you can wait a few months id wait and see if the N10 does become available here.
I have the N7 and its simply fantastic,i can only imagine what the N10 screen is like but its stats are amazing.

The Nexus 10 has the best tablet resolution of any tablet when it came out and probably still has.

However, if it is just to look at pdfs then that is total overkill. Anything like this will be fine for you, remember the resolution of that tablet is on par if not better than your laptop's resolution probably is.

    Go for the n10.

I got the n7 and was so impressed that then I got the n10.

Buying it through Google uk was actually pretty smooth.
