Building PC, but GFX query

Basically I have every part covered, except for the GFX really.

    CPU Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
    Motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme6 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
    Memory Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
    Toshiba 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB Video Card
Case Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply OCZ ZT 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply

I have not got time to spare as my old PC has died and this lack the power to do what I want. Basically all I have left is the GFX card if I want better I'd wait a few weeks/months longer, but since I don't have the time to wait really. I'm looking at a nvidia GTX 660 (Ti) or the GTX 670. Now I presumed that getting the GFX I would be able to run at least 2 monitors of it. As I want to run a scream while playing my games in seperate screens. Would this be possible with 1x GTX 660 Ti until I get 2x 680's?

basically can I run 2 monitors off of 1x 660 Ti (maybe 2 SLI GTX 660 not 660 Ti)? it would be running the game, say minecraft and the other, web, or streaming?

    CPU: i7 3770k
    RAM: Cosair vengence LP 16GB
    Mobo: asus sabertooth Z77
    Case: Fractal design R4
    HDs: SATA WD Black 2GB
    SSD 2 x samsung series 840 Pro 128/256
(probably going to increase to a 512 GB) SSD.

left the PSU and CPU cooler out as I'll probably change them before buying.

What do you want to use the computer for? A lot of the parts seem overkill for a gaming PC.

overkill heh everybody seemsto use that word on this part of the forum.

streaming to twitch.tv and for the most part making videos using fraps (or something else depending on the computer). hence why I have choosen SSD 840 pro to handle large file size. and 16GB is something that will be save rather than sorry. I'm a gamer so a lot of the time is spent gaming. but I am fine with what I have got except for the GFX card.

should I get 2x GFX cards for it or will 1 do two monitors. I have budgeted everything except this part I have a 300 euro should be on the side and I will always get at least 2x SLI GTX 680 at the least in 2-3 months.

but that really is my question can I get just 1 card and have my dual screens or do I need 2x gfx cards for (all cards are at least 2x dualports)

One card will do two screens. In fact, if it's a 660 (I think) or above, it'll do four. :P

The only thing that's really not worth the money there is the motherboard. You could save quite a bit going with an ASRock Extreme4, and still get all the features. I really dunno why people like that board so much. The thermal "armour" is actually worse than having the board open, unless you use that stupid little fan, in which case your PC sounds like a hair dryer.

    Thanks for the comfirmation.

Tbh, I was/am going asus I've found those mobos are very relable, but reading over the spec on the extreme 4 and 6 (euro25 extra-ish) they are pretty nice
save me 60-80 euro plus more USB ports.

ASRock are generally more reliable than ASUS at the moment, though they've (ASUS) caught up quite a bit since Ivy's launch.

Yeah, hmm I think I'll switch it to ASRock extreme 4, but the 6 has certain raid which could be handy for what I want.

anyway, liquid coolants can some give me recommendation on them , a CPU only, coolant I've seen a few different ones around, but with still loud fans on most.

Are you thinking about adding your graphics card in later? What sort of money are you going to put towards liquid cooling?

    2 GFX cards
one cheap but can handle it 1x GFX 660 Ti and then 2x 680 later on.
I'll probably put this 660 ti in to an older one when the new ones have arrived.

I'll probably have 100 for the liquid coolant.

Sorry, I meant are you thinking of water cooling your graphics card(s) later on?

    no, not at the moment.
I know the GFX cards are the other head wasting fools

I'd go for something like this instead:

    http://www.hardwareversand.de/Intel+AMD/31818/Noctua+NH-D14%2C+Sockel+AM2+AM2%2B+AM3+775+1366+1155+1156.article

It'll perform just as well as something like a H100, but be quieter. The H100 only pulls away from the Noctua with very high overclocks, and it needs decent fans to be quieter.

    another question really.

should I get a video capturing card as well as the GFX card(s) or is the need completely unnessecary for the PC and GFX card as there would be no noticable difference?

Basically it is for live streaming I am asking really. I plan to upgrade after awhile 2x GTX 680 4GB or 1x GTX Titan. Until then 1x EVGA GTX 660 ti 3GB

Here is an example of one.
Avermedia Live Gamer Hd C985 - Video Input Adapter - Pci Express http://goo.gl/eN9Dp

pricey I know 150-200 for that card :/

I've been looking around at can't find any as good. however the audio seems to be an issue with some people out-of-sync and a scratchy noise, but that can be fixed by a splitter lead.

It seems to be very good and hardly shows on the cpu usage.
which is great. I'm looking for newer models (if they exist yet).
However again I am not doing it for FPS so I shouldn't have that issue of the frame issues.

the only down side is the cost ranging from 150-250 which is a lot.
having said that the amount of gbs it saves is huge 40-50 mins will only use up 4 GB
