Official Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro or generic?

I am going to order two Classic Controller Pros for my original Nintendo Wii to play emulated games on the Wii for SNES, Neo-Geo, Megadrive and Arcade etc.

Amazon and eBay sell the official and non-official generic versions of this device and I wonder has anyone used the generic versions and if they noticed any difference in how it felt or played?

They are much cheaper.

I am reading a lot of bad reviews online for the generics reporting buttons sticking and breaking etc.

Where can I buy a White Classic Controller Pro short of the US? One of Amazon's Marketplace sellers have them on sale but they are three times the price or so as the same product in red or black from Amazon direct.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just wondering did the OP or anyone else get a generic classic controller pro and how they worked out? Wondering is it worth getting one, when they seem to be a lot cheaper, even than what some people seem to be looking for the official Nintendo ones second hand.

Check the CEX online store. You can order stuff from any of their online stuff in Ireland.

I am afraid I started messing around with an XBOX 360 and other projects sinc, and I have not used the Wii for awhile. I still intend to get the official controller when I get around to it! I definitely will not buy generic due to the bad reviews I previously mentioned. If you get an official before me please update the trade with your experience!
