iPhone 4s Unresponsive Screen

My iPhone 4s (bought in Dec 2011) screen seems to get very unresponsive from time to time.

For example if you are trying to navigate a page on safari it may take a good few swipes to actually get the phone to do what you want.

Any one have this happen to them before?

As odd as it sounds, I find my iPhone 4 can slow down from time to time. I'd imagine its something to do with the logs and file system just building up (As with any piece of tech) I generally find a reboot fixes it and its no harm to do a restore every few months. However it should be noted that Apple support the newest device first and foremost, as such you'll find the 3GS, 4 and 4S will continue to slow down as the iOS version increases. Thats just the pace of technology.

To me it feels like the screen isnt working as opposed to the phone slowing down

Digitizers do fail, especially as they get older, a new screen should fix the issue

How common is that? The phone isnt 18 months old

Might contact apple and see what they say
