I am just wondering if anybody can suggest some good quality bedding (quilt covers, pillow cases etc) I have finally had enough of sleeping in cheap, scratchy covers! Would have a budget of €80-100 for a double duvet cover with pillowcases and just wondering what brands or shops would offer the best quality for my money. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at this site
http://www.justlinen.co.uk/dorma.asp, some really nice stuff at good prices. Debenhams are having a sale at the mo too

Also the bedding in Next is not too expensive and really nice quality.

Thanks a million for the first site, there’s tons of lovely stuff there and lots on sale, so that’s good.

I’ve never actually bought in Next, so will definitely have a look there.

    Ikea and Homestore & More.

I bought a "Super Kingsize" 10.5 tog duvet in Homestore for 35 euro.

Also got a lovely silk superking duvet cover set for 25 euro in Homestore aswell.

Picked up a HUGE sized (260 x 280cm) bed throw in Ikea for 30 euro.

Lidl also had some lovely double, kingsize and superking size silk and microfibre elasticated/fitted bed sheets on sale for 10 euro recently.
Various ciolours....White,brown,lavender and cream colours.Very good quality for a tenner.

Penneys are selling large sized memory foam pillows off for 8 euro at the moment.

Clerys in town are also selling off lots of stuff at the moment...with up to 50% off some items.

I got bedding sets in Dunnes that I love to bits, have them about 6 months and they haven't lost their colour or their crisp feel after I wash them. (they are washed every 1-2 weeks)
Homestore & More would be another haunt of mine, I've picked up quilts to throw over the beds in the winter that dress the room nicely.
Ikea is another great one for bedding, although a lot of their duvet covers are printed so if you were looking for plain you may not be happy with their selection.

Also, I've been lucky a few times and I've got memory foam pillows/mattress toppers via Groupon.

Also worth a look in Hickeys/Homefocus.

They made 3 sets of one off/bespoke thermal blackout curtains for me...and they also do have sales and sell off end of line duvet sets at half price.

One more place I forgot about, TK Max, I got a fab Kylie at Home set for about €55 and my sis picked up a Kristy Allsop set for €35 ( it was slightly marked on one corner but it washed out no problem).

Gaspa in ikea is a fabulous quality

    http://m.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/art/10229747/

It only comes in dark grey , purple or turquoise but it is like silk to sleep on, it's their highest quality duvet and sheets, the same quality in another store would be genuinely twice the price!

The Ikea cotton bedding is lovely as well, and cheap as chips (I dread to think what kind of child labour must be involved to produce stuff that cheap).

There's a bedding shop in Kildare Village, the name of which escapes me just now, which had beautiful stuff when I last visited, at very good prices.

And if you ever win the lotto or come into an inheritance, treat yourself to some really high thread count Autograph stuff from M&S - I have one set, and it's my absolute favourite of all. Cost a bomb, but worth every penny :D
