Is the Oxygen bar still in BT's on Grafton Street?

I'd love to give it a try...

of course if it's not I could just stick my head out the window but it's the novelty I suppose.

I'll sell you a bottle of it for a good price.

    Nah, think it's gone.

I'm pretty sure that sort of nonsense died out with the boom even in places like Brown Thomas.

Back when people would pay to breath in air...

    Ah well. Just a thought!

If you really want on oxegen bottle then the Great Outdoors on Chatham St should be able to order you one in.

They're for climbing 8000m mountains but will still suit your purposes. Will cost you around €400 though

I know people are laughing saying it's free outside but does inhaling pure oxygen not have a different effect than, you know, sticking your head out the kitchen window? I thought it keeps your brain stimulated doesn't it? Don't they pump it into big casinos to keep people awake?

To be honest, i was reading online about it and some health benefits of it and thought i'd like to try it. It's meant to be good for you!

Yeah it does for sure. But not pure 100% oxygen which would kill you stone dead and isn't commercially available for obvious reasons.

It is not the done thing anymore but a friend who is an air hostess tells me that years ago if they had a hangover at work they used to suck on the oxygen masks for a few minutes before passengers came onto the plane. It worked a treat as a cure for a hangover and she swore by it. So I guess you could say it definitely has anti-intoxicant effects.
