I think you're miles off. Workmate bought an 08 308 last year for €5k.

I don't wish to insult but I'd imagine at least 1.5k over priced. Just an unpopular car unfortunately.

While it may be priced similar to others I don't think it will sell close to that price

    Thanks Colm

What do you reckon? I based it on a couple of others I'd seen. I was offered more than €5.5k as a trade in but thought I'd get more private Looked at these..

Thanks lads, appreciate the feedback (even if it's not what I want to hear. What do you reckon realistically. €5K seems a bit low ??

I reckon you'd sell it for 4k privately, I couldn't really see you getting 5k.
Bear in mind any price you get on a trade in will include a discount on the car you're buying

Ie 4k for the 307, €1500 discount , that's €5500 against the window price of the car.

I may be wrong, I hope I am, but 307s are deeply unpopular.

Trade in at 5.5k means nothing. That means that there is discount built into the retail price is all. Also the price advertised is more often than not the selling price.

I agree with the other posters. As a private sale that is a €4000 car. Maybe €4500 if it is as clean as it looks in the pictures and you manage to find a buyer who knows the difference between a genuine car and a sh1tbox.
