    Hi again,
so I got the initial set up going with laptop but I reckon there's something not right with software as have to install Pc companion each time
anyway was wondering where & how is the best way to download music onto phone. When I go to store in media go it just goes to games?

Is the Sony entertainment thingy worth it. Anyone got it. Am I right in saying it's 10 Euro per month?

    Cheers,
    d

Just drop your music into the music folder on your phone, the software on your phone will find it.

Cheers for reply. Just wondering why when transferred into phone that phone recognises some music & not others. Sorry for basic questions

It's just a guess but maybe not all the music is in the same format and the stock player won't play some formats. Possibly a mix of mp3, flac etc.
Try a third party music player from the play store.
Poweramp, Shuttle Music Player, Neutron, GMMP are just some you could try. All of the above play most if not all audio formats.

Can u transfer music into the app?

No, the app just reads the music from either directly the phone or if you have it on the SD card...

If your looking for something similar to iTunes you can use the Google Play Music app from the playstore...

You can upload music to the cloud and read your local music, not sure about formats that it supports though...

You can't actually purchase the music at the moment from the Irish Play (you will be able to hopefully soon!) - you put your music collection up there for streaming off the net, or just whatever you have locally on your phone...

Say you have your music on your PC in "my music" and you connect your phone up - on the screen of the phone it should ask you would you like to use your device as a Hardrive - you say yes and then the folder loads up - you simply just copy and paste what albums you want onto it, no iTunes required!

Unless Sony have some form of music app that I don't know about - the above should work...
